COfundOS.org bietet eine Plattform zur Verwirklichung von Open-Source-Software Ideen. Ziel ist es innerhalb einer Online Community Geld für die Realisierung solcher Projekte zusammenzutragen und Anforderungen zu erheben und zu diskutieren. Die Plattform wurde innerhalb der Session vorgestellt und mögliche Beispiel wie die Entwicklung von WordPress-Plugins diskutiert.
Das Web sollte sich nach dem Web 2.0 der großen Applikationen wie Flikr, YouTube oder Wikipedia, wieder zu einem verteilten Web entwickeln, in dem Informationen nicht nur durch den Menschen, sondern auch durch Maschinen interpretierbar sind.
