The Centre Virtuel de la Connaissance sur l’Europe (CVCE) and the Jean Monnet Chair in History of European Integration and its Research Programme ‘Digital Humanities Luxembourg’ -DIHULUX (research unit Identités-Politiques-Sociétés-Espaces [IPSE]), organised the DHLU Symposium 2012.
This Symposium addressed both methodological aspects and the theoretical and institutional implications of the public dissemination of research results, focusing on digitised and online published sources as well as on websites themselves, which will be analysed as born digital sources. The potential of this innovative research approach was also be explored and emphasised.
Together with Christian Rau, we presented the Catalogus Professorum Lipsiensis.

As part of the 100th anniversary program of the UT Connewitz in Leipzig
International avant-garde filmmakers have been known in the GDR only at best hearsay. However, there was formed from the mid-seventies, an experimental film scene that developed away from the DEFA and TV a radically subjective style and attitude that moved into the official doctrine of Socialist Realism. Who were the protagonists of the cine-film-substrate, the conditions under which they shot their films and what the artists were subjected to repression, the cine film activist and film historian Claus Löser will examine in detail.
For the presentation and the subsequent short-film program, he opens his film archive in which all the glued, scratched, performten, surreal and melancholy are treasures that have not been confiscated or destroyed.
Claus Löser cinema owners, film historian and filmmaker. In 1996 he founded the ex.oriente.lux film archive. Among its key activities e.g. the politicization of the film, the underground film scene and the nonconformist art in the GDR.

Abstract:
Die Studentenkonferenz Informatik Leipzig 2011 bietet die Möglichkeit, die Identifikation für das Studienfach Informatik und die Begeisterung für IT-Themen allgemein bei Studierenden zu wecken. Bei der Studentenkonferenz reichten Studierende kurze Artikel über Studien-, Abschlussarbeiten oder in der Freizeit absolvierte informatikrelevante Projekte ein. Andere Studierende, Doktoranden und wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter der Leipziger Hochschulen bewerteten und diskutierten die eingereichten Arbeiten. Interessante und gut ausgearbeitete Einreichungen wurden zur Präsentation auf der Konferenz angenommen. Dieses Buch beinhaltet die überarbeiteten Beiträge der studentischen Autoren. Eine Studentenkonferenz unterscheidet sich kaum von einer anderen wissenschaftlichen Konferenz. Die Themenvielfalt kann allerdings durch die Breite der vertretenen Themen größer sein und die wissenschaftliche Innovation ist bei der Bewertung der Arbeiten nicht immer das primäre Kriterium. Eine Studentenkonferenz hilft, das kreative Potential von Studierenden besser sichtbar zu machen und Studierende für die Informatik und die Forschung zu begeistern. Außerdem stärkt sie den Austausch zwischen verschiedenen Disziplinen innerhalb der Informatik und fördert insbesondere das gegenseitige Verständnis von Lehrkräften und Studierenden. In diesem Jahr wurde am Institut für Angewandte Informatik (InfAI) e.V. zum zweiten Mal die Studentenkonferenz Informatik Leipzig (SKIL 2011) organisiert. Initiiert und maßgeblich organisiert wurde die SKIL 2011 von den Forschungsgruppen Agile Knowledge Engineering and Semantic Web (AKSW) und Service Science and Technology (SeSaT) der Universität Leipzig. Die Konferenz fand am 02. Dezember 2011 in Leipzig statt.

The student conference of the Institute of computer science at the University of Leipzig is open to all students in computer science and related disciplines, with a focus on computer science, from the Leipzig area. It has the goal to give the students a platform to present their projects and research projects. The currently availible OntoWiki version at the developer branch requires PHP 5.3.. Version 5.2 can not create anonymous function on the fly.
